Not everyone has free time for individual lessons. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to agree on a time for lessons that is convenient for me and for the student. Especially if we are in different time zones.
Also, some chess students prefer to study on their own at any convenient time. But not everyone knows exactly what to do. Now there is a huge variety of different chess sites and simulators. But, unfortunately, most of them were created primarily for fun, but not for progress in chess.
Therefore, I decided to create an effective learning system, help the student create a personal development plan and monitor its implementation.
In short about this method
To start, you’ll need to fill out a form about yourself, providing the following information: Brief info about yourself, your chess com or lichess profiles ( I will analyse your games) , your strong/weak sides, opening preferences, and of course, your goals in chess!
Based on that, I will prepare an individual plan and send you the first part. It will include: practical tasks/ new strategic or tactical topics/ a new opening/ a few special tasks. You can work through this part at your own pace, no need to rush. On average, my students complete one part over several weeks.
Once you finish the first part, you send it to me for review.
If I approve it, I’ll provide you with a personalized video lesson where I go over the mistakes and offer personal recommendations. If I notice that you haven’t quite understood the new opening or have made too many mistakes, I’ll point them out and ask you to keep working on that part of the plan.
We will be studying like this for six months or a year, depending on which plan you choose.
WHAT IT CONTAINS
Individual Program
Based on your strengths and weaknesses, and of course, your preferences, I will create an individual development program for you, which we will follow throughout the year.
Play against me
We will always have 2 active daily chess games, which, of course, will also be analyzed by me for you. Sometimes these will be special games started from specific positions.
Personal video lessons
At the end of each section, I will record a personalized video for you analyzing your games and mistakes.
My constant control
I will check your homework assignments and monitor their progress. This will help you stay motivated at all times.
Detailed games analysis
At the end of each part of the plan, you'll be able to send me around 10 games, and I'll record a video lesson where I'll explain your mistakes in detail.
Private online tournaments
From time to time, I organize closed tournaments for my students on Chess.com. This is a very beneficial practice, which can be rewarded with prizes.
Before making a purchase, I advise you to contact me! This type of training may not be suitable for everyone, so I want to first learn about you and your goals, as well as take a look at your chess.com or FIDE profile.
What is the main principle of Remote Coaching Programme?
Chess is a very complex and multifaceted game consisting of many elements. Unfortunately, very often, players ignore their weaknesses. For example, 90% hate endgames because they find them difficult and incomprehensible. Someone likes to learn openings, but doesn’t like to solve problems. Someone is the opposite. Very often we ignore our problems and then suffer because of it. This is the main principle of this program. To touch on all the necessary aspects of chess. And my main task is to explain them to you in an understandable and accessible way. Sometimes it will be a little difficult, but you will be pleased to win later.
How much time do I have per each Part of my plan?
It depends on how much free time you are willing to devote to chess. My students, on average, complete one part of the plan in 15-20 days.
How many points do I need to get to successfully complete a part?
If you achieve an accuracy of 85%, you will immediately get access to the next part.
What should I do after I finish my Part?
Just let me know about it (best by mail). After 2-3 days I will check everything, find your mistakes, analyze the games and send you a new part.
I want to learn something ( opening, endgame rule, etc.) but I don't see it in my plan. What should I do?
Just let me know about it. And I will add it to the next part. No problem! 🙂
